JamJarr doesn't run its own servers or collect your data. It's a client app: you point it at a Jellyfin server, and optionally a Seerr server, that you or someone else already runs, and it talks to that server directly. Your username, password, and viewing activity go to that server, not to us.
What JamJarr stores on your device
Server addresses, login sessions, and app preferences are stored using SwiftData, which keeps that information in your own Apple account and syncs it across your devices via iCloud. We have no way to see any of it, and it never reaches us. It only ever moves between your devices and the servers you've added.
What we don't collect
There are no JamJarr accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking SDKs. We don't sell or share your data with third parties, because we don't have any to share.
IntroDB (optional)
If you enable intro/credits skipping, JamJarr sends the ID of the media you're currently watching to IntroDB, a third-party service, to look up skip timestamps. No account information or personal data is sent along with it. This is enabled by default.
Your Jellyfin and Seerr servers
Whoever runs the servers you connect to, you or someone who gave you access, controls what happens to your data there. That's governed by however that server is configured, not by this policy. Jellyfin's and Seerr's own docs and policies are the place to look for that.
Apple's role
JamJarr is distributed through the App Store, so standard App Store mechanics (purchase history, device compatibility checks, and anonymized crash reports if you opt in) are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We don't have access to any of that.
Children's privacy
JamJarr doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included, because it doesn't collect personal information at all.

Legal terms
JamJarr is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Jellyplayer LLC is not liable for the availability, security, or content of any third-party server (including Jellyfin, Seerr, or IntroDB instances) that you choose to connect to, nor for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a U.S. state with its own privacy law (such as California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data held about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because JamJarr does not collect or store personal data on servers we control, requests of this kind are generally handled by the operator of the Jellyfin or Seerr server you use, not by Jellyplayer LLC. Where we do act as a data controller, such as for messages sent to our contact address, you may exercise these rights by contacting us at contact@jamjarr.media.
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Continued use of JamJarr after a change to this policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
